Update: Pilot Data + Blueprint Health + CDC Recognition

2016 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Blue Mesa Health!

We have a few announcements to make:

Pilot Results

Our initial pilot participants have achieved excellent results. By week 16, the participants lost a cumulative body weight percentage of 8.1%. They surpassed the 5-7% program goal three weeks before the end of the 16-week intervention. The pilot requires participants to complete weekly lessons, homework, and quizzes, to consult with a health coach, and to engage with the social support group.  The average weekly engagement is an impressive 92% across the 13 weeks.

Blueprint Health

We are one of 10 companies kicking off a 3-month accelerator with Blueprint Health in New York City. To learn more about the companies joining this accelerator, check out this article.

Blueprint Health will help connect us with customers, investors, partners and mentors in the New York digital health space and beyond.

CDC Recognition

We have now received pending recognition from the CDC's Diabetes Prevention Recognition Program, which recognizes organizations that deliver the Diabetes Prevention Program both virtually and on-site.  CDC pending recognition is one step in a rigorous process that leads to full recognition after 24 months. We will submit our data to the CDC for review, a crucial step in holding ourselves accountable and strengthening our commitment to an outcomes-focused approach.

We're looking forward to delivering more updates, as well as topical articles, interviews, and testimonials, throughout 2016.
